Ribbed washers

SMARTLOCK ribbed washers

Small washers, big impact

The ribbed washer from our W.TEC® product series combines simplicity with technical sophistication. Its one-piece locking system secures your screw connection against self-loosening.

Junker test in accordance with DIN 65151 and DIN 25201-4

An independent institute confirmed the locking effect of all dimensions by conducting a Junker test in accordance with DIN 65151 and DIN 25201-4.

Following the test, the screw connection retained a minimum of 80% of its preload force.

How do ribbed washers work?

Due to the preload applied during assembly, the radial ribs of the ribbed washer press into the mating material.

This process results in a form-fit connection of the respective contact surfaces. This form fit connection ensures reliable locking against loosening even under strong dynamic influences and vibrations.
