In collaboration with Dringenberg GmbH Betriebseinrichtungen, Würth Industrie Service presents the new Kanban rack CPS®KANBAN flex for a seamless, secure and efficient supply of production materials via RFID Kanban. In addition to the hitherto classic bin levels in the form of usual shelves, CPS®KANBAN flex opens up a possibility of levels without a base using modular shelves with rails.

As part of the latest pilot study, Würth Industrie Service now automatically delivers its small-sized bin (W-KLT®2.0 S) to LMC Caravan GmbH & Co. KG’s decentralised place of use using an RFID enabled mother bin or carrier bin (W-KLT®2.0 4315 or W-KLT®2.0 4115). Small-sized bin handling has been integrated into the existing and fully automated RFID Kanban system onsite and is already operational.

The expansion of the state-of-the-art logistics centre for industrial supplies in Europe has laid the foundation for the further growth of Würth Industrie Service, both at national and international level. The excavations for building a new automated high-bay warehouse with additional 59,000 storage spaces covering more than 4,000 square metres started at the end of July 2022. The official ground-breaking ceremony was held on Thursday, 4th August, 2022 marking the symbolic go-ahead for the construction.
